Current verified seed
The driver hub currently treats Game Ready 616.92 for Windows as the newest verified Game Ready record in this coverage. The release-note branch remains NVIDIA's Release 615 label; the page does not derive a branch by rounding the marketing version.
This is a documentary record. It is not a guarantee that the package is best, safest, or supported for every GPU, notebook, managed PC, or workload.
[47][48]Hotfixes are a separate channel
The reviewed 616.86 hotfix was based on 616.64 and targeted a small set of fixes. One of those fixes, bug 6673430, also appears in the reviewed 616.92 regular-release source. That relationship matters: a fix can become broadly available later without making the earlier hotfix a normal release.
Use the issue ledger to follow fixed-in scope instead of chasing isolated version numbers.
[49][48]Before using a Game Ready package
- Confirm whether the package covers your exact GPU, OS, desktop/notebook, and managed-device context.
- Check known issues for acknowledged open or fixed-in-scope items.
- Check Windows 10 support timing if the system is still on Windows 10.
- Use Game Ready vs Studio when creative applications matter.
